History of Enameling in Greece
The history of EΒYK began in 1931, when Georgios Pevitselis founded a family business in Thessaloniki, specializing in the manufacture of wood stoves and cookers.
Over the decades, EVYK adapted to market needs, and in the 1950s, it introduced oil heating appliances, expanding its sales throughout Greece with the support of the founder's three sons.
In the 1960s, EVYK became synonymous with reliability and quality in the heating sector, evolving its products to include heaters, fan heaters, and cookers.
In 1965, the company took a significant step by enriching its activities with enameling, upgrading its facilities with German equipment and offering specialized services to other businesses.
As the company continued to grow, it added new facilities and created spaces for the storage of items before and after enameling, enhancing its capabilities in the sector.
Today, under the management of Mr. Georgios Gritzalidis, EBYK is constantly evolving, seeking a larger share in the Greek and international markets. It operates as a subcontractor, offering high-quality enameling for hot water tanks and other household and professional appliances.
Its facilities, covering a private plot of 20,000 square meters and a covered area of 12,000 square meters, include 4 enameling lines and two modern firing ovens, one continuous and one batch-type.
